JACKIE HOWE (Margaret)

Jackie Howe is an experienced and versatile Actress who has worked extensively in Film, Television and Theatre. Her Television and Film work include roles in Casualty, Line of Duty, Holby City, The Bill, No Ordinary Joe, Ladies and Gentlemen and Life Sentence.

Jackie plays the lead role of Eileen in the Feature Film, Come on Eileen (Blinder Films / Foal Films / High Fliers), for which she received much acclaim for her performance, including great reviews from The Guardian, The New York Times and The Evening Standard, to name just a few.

In the Theatre Jackie has performed with various repertory companies and in the West End, playing a wide range of characters including June/George in The Killing of Sister George, Sheila in Relatively Speaking, Diana in Absent Friends, Faye in Chapter Two, Rachel in Seasons Greetings and Angela in Abigail’s Party.

Jackie can currently be seen playing the role of Karen in Andy Blackburn’s Feature Film, Being Nice (Carsick Pictures), which is just starting the festival circuit and is delighted to be working on The New Boy.
